Brooks Sweet, the Director of the Long Island Lacrosse School will be running our sponsored MVP Lacrosse Camp at Town Park in Warwick for boys and girls grades 1st through 11th (as of Sept 2010)
The MVP Summer Lacrosse Camp is designed for both boys and girls grades 1-11 (as of Sept. 2010). Instruction and coaching will be geared to the ability and talents of each individual camper. The camp curriculum is designed to improve fundamental skills and techniques while advancing the players’ understanding of game concepts and team play.
Camp Director, Brooks Sweet has been involved in lacrosse throughout most of his life. Brooks currently teaches Physical Education at Poly Prep HS and coaches the Varsity and Middle School Boys lacrosse teams. A graduate of UMASS, Brooks, was a four time College All American. Brooks also played for Team USA and was voted MVP in the 1982 World Games after scoring seven goals in the Championship game.
Each day will consist of: Games – Position Stations – Lunch - Skill Contests – Lax Games
